RafterIQ (“we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by 92Foods LLC d/b/a RafterIQ from McKinney, TX. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or subscribe to our service, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
When you sign up, we ask for your email address and a password. Account management (including login, email verification, and password resets) is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk. Clerk processes your authentication credentials on our behalf and stores session data so you stay signed in across visits.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe holds that data and shares only the last four digits, brand, and expiration with us so we can show you a billing summary. Stripe’s privacy policy governs how your payment details are handled.
If you opt in to our weekly digest, we record that preference and your email address. Digest emails are sent via Resend. Every digest contains a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in.
We collect basic, aggregated analytics: page views, referrer, country, and rough device class. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies, we do not run advertising pixels, and we do not build behavioral profiles. We do use a session cookie for keeping you signed in.
The building permit records shown on RafterIQ are public records sourced from Texas city permit portals under the Texas Public Information Act. We did not create this data and we cannot remove or modify it. If you believe a permit record contains an error, contact the city that issued it. We publish a link to the original portal entry on every permit page.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your email address with third parties for marketing. We will not use your information for purposes unrelated to running RafterIQ without your consent.
We keep your account data while your account is active and for up to 12 months after cancellation, after which we delete or anonymize it. Billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting law (up to 7 years).
RafterIQ is a B2B tool. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we’ll delete the account.
All traffic to RafterIQ is served over TLS. Passwords are hashed by Clerk and never visible to us. Database access is restricted by network ACL and credentials rotated periodically. No system is perfectly secure; if you suspect a vulnerability, email us privately at hello@rafteriq.com so we can fix it before disclosure.
We’ll update the effective date at the top of this page when we make material changes. If a change affects your existing rights, we will notify subscribers by email at least 14 days before it takes effect.
