01Which cities are covered?
We're building a Texas-statewide feed and rolling out metro by metro. Live today across DFW: McKinney, Frisco, Plano, Allen, Prosper, Celina, Wylie, Anna, plus DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Coppell, Farmers Branch, Hurst, North Richland Hills, and Sherman. Major Texas hubs already live: Lubbock, Waco, League City, Sugar Land, Pasadena, Baytown, Missouri City, Kyle, Port Arthur, Rosenberg, Waxahachie. Next up: Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Denton city, Garland. These run on a different portal system (Accela) and need a dedicated extractor we're building now. When a city's portal isn't live yet we tell you honestly rather than serving stale rows.
02How is the data sourced?
Public city permit portals (Tyler EnerGov, OpenGov, eTRAKiT, SmartGov, CitizenServe). Every permit links back to the original city portal record so you can verify any lead in one click.
03How fresh is the data?
Permits are extracted from city portals daily. The full call-sheet digest lands in your inbox every Monday morning (North Texas permits refreshed daily, weekly call-sheet digest). If a faster cadence matters for your trade, email us and tell us what would unlock the buy.
04What's the rollout order?
North DFW (Collin County, 8 cities) plus a growing set of Tyler EnerGov portals across the Metroplex (DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Hurst, Coppell, Farmers Branch, North Richland Hills, Sherman) and major Texas hubs (Lubbock, Waco, League City, Sugar Land, Pasadena) are live today. In progress: Accela-portal cities (Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Garland, Irving, Mesquite). These need a custom extractor and are the next ship. After: full Houston, Austin, San Antonio metros through 2026. If your metro isn't live yet, email us. We'll prioritize and let you know when it lands before your card is charged.
05Can I filter to just my trade?
Yes. Every permit is auto-tagged: Roof, Solar, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Pool, Spa, Irrigation, Fence, Foundation, Demolition, Siding, Window, Driveway, Fire Protection, Sign, New SFR, New Commercial, Addition, Remodel, Accessory, Commercial. Click any tag to filter the dashboard.
06Are homeowner-pulled permits flagged?
When the portal discloses the contractor name, permits pulled directly by the homeowner are tagged HOMEOWNER in the contractor column. These are the hottest leads since no contractor is signed yet. Some city portals don't expose contractor data publicly, so this flag is best-effort.
07Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, month-to-month, no contract. Cancel from the Stripe customer portal or email us. If a week's data is weak for your trade, tell us and we'll credit the week.
08Why $99/mo?
Cheap enough to not think about, expensive enough to take seriously. Starter ($99/mo) covers solo contractors. Pro ($199/mo) unlocks intel features for teams. A single roof lead, solar install, or pool build pays for a year of subscription.
